Program
The full 2010 program is now available as a pdf download to help you plan the weekend.
This year the festival has expanded to 7 stages and over 120 acts with the help of some generous sponsorship, which has also meant that it remains a free festival. If you are coming to the festival, we do ask that you donate whatever you feel is appropriate to support the future of the event, there are donation buckets at all venues.
Some changes and highlights not to be missed in this year’s program include:- Our "Special Mystery Guest" will appear on the Sunday. He is an Australian music icon and has generously donated his time to support the festival. It will be huge.
- Justin Brady’s Harmonica School on Sunday morning. Formerly of "Things of Stone and Wood". Justin is one of Australia’s best harmonica players and will conduct a 2 hour workshop that caters from beginners to advanced. Bring your "C" harmonica or you can buy one off Justin on the day. This is sponsored by Aireys Inlet Getaway and is therefore a free event and suitable for all ages.
- We have a Buskers Stage this year in the Inlet Beach Park. It is unscheduled and is a walk up format. It is ideal for those performers who missed the chance to register or for performers who want to play more times than their allocated slots.
- For festival goers there is a free Shuttle Bus this year during the day sessions. We are trying to encourage minimum car use, especially for locals, to assist with parking issues and make the festival as carbon neutral as possible. Details are below.
- There is a new act on every 30 minutes, it is a fast and entertaining format.
- To preview the acts go to our website at www.aireysinlet.com.au This year we have attracted some amazing talent, we hope you enjoy and support the festival.
