Venues
This year the festival has expanded to NINE stages and each will provide a different experience for both artist and festival goer. Aireys Inlet is blessed with natural beauty and we have set stages in some of it's most beautiful precincts. Here is a summary of the stages available this year:
Aireys Pub Band Marquee
Situated in the Beer Garden at the newly refurbished Aireys Pub. Both night sessions and both day sessions will see bands playing here.
All performers and audience members under the age of 18 must be under adult supervision at the Hotel. From 10pm all under 18s need to be off the premises regardless of adult supervision.
Aireys Pub Acoustic Stage
Similar to last year, this stage is in the large back room of the Aireys Pub and will only operate at night for acoustic performers.
Skate Park Band Stage
Set in the beautiful open spaces of the Aireys Inlet Skate Park, overlooking the Inlet and with the lighthouse in the back ground, this is a large 10m x 18m marquee that will be a day band stage. This is ideal for families who want to bring a picnic basket and enjoy great music while lounging on the large lawn area. There is a playground and skate park for the kids. Make sure you bring a chair.
Sanctuary acoustic stage
Overlooking the sanctuary, this stage will be set in the Bark Hut Park in a 12m marquee. The setting is very sheltered, very picturesque and we are sure will be a very popular stage. It will run for the day sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
Truffles stage
The popular eatery will again host and acoustic stage this year for the day sessions. On Saturday and Sunday. Great food, great music in a relaxed atmosphere.
Sunny's Pizza stage
A very popular hang out and a great place to watch music. Sunny's now has regular music after the success of our festival. Great food and its licensed.
Inlet Beach Stage
Set in a beautiful park next to the Inlet Beach and a mid point between The Skate Park band stage and the Sanctuary Stage. Last years Buskers Stage will be scheduled this year. We think the setting is fantastic so we have ordered a decent size marquee and a bigger stage. Should be a popular venue.
Kiss Me Too Buskers Stage
This is a new, small buskers stage that will really only cater for solo acts. We will have a PA set up under the verandah outside Kiss Me Too and anyone who wants to busk can just see Mark or Sarah at Kiss Me Too to play. An audience will be assured as it faces towards the Fish and Chip shop that was absolutely pumping last year.
Aireys Inlet Foodstore (New Stage!)
A ninth stage has been added to year's festival with the new Aireys Inlet Foodstore hosting an acoustic stage. Located right on the river at 89 Great Ocean Road it is the ideal location to enjoy the artists playing at the festival.
