This year we have five exciting workshops:
Lapsteel guitar workshop
Venue: Aireys Pub Acoustic Stage - inside Pub.

Shane Walters has been sliding on the lapsteel guitar for over 13 years. In his early 20's Shane created Maple Rust Guitars in the search to create a unique sounding lapslide with electric and acoustic qualities. Giving his guitar playing style a rich full-bodied tone.
Shane will cover beginning steps and go from there. Discussing and practising as many elements we can such as; tunings, scales, luthiering guitars, and as many trick and licks we can fit into an hour. Songwriting workshop

Sarah Carnegie is a Melbourne based singer/songwriter. She presents a unique musical offering that has constructed a world where her voice powerfully conveys the emotions of her lyrics, from subtle sweetness to heartfelt passion. Sure to be a fun and interesting workshop.
Jazz / Rock Drumming Workshop
Venue: Inlet Hotel Band Marquee
When: Saturday at 10.30am

Jason Breen is playing at the festival in his band The Tufftones and is also conducting this great workshop on Jazz and Rock Drumming. It doesn't matter what level of drummer you are or even if you are only thinking about becoming a drummer there will be something you can learn from this great workshop.

African Drumming
Venue: Skate Park Band Marquee

Jacqui Dreessens from Wild Moves will teach you all the basics of African Drumming. She is passionate about this style of music and you will be too after this great workshop. It is important to remember to bring a chair and that the class is limited to 30. You can't book so get there early to secure your spot.

Harmonica workshop
Venue: Sanctuary Stage

Cost: $10
Justin Brady is one of Australia's best harmonica players and his workshop at last year's festival was a huge hit with many a new harmonica career either launched or improved.
If you are just starting and want to pre-order a harmonica from
