Amie Grisold is folk and pop artist from outside Melbourne, Australia. Her original music has been described as ‘sensational and gorgeous’ in reviews and is praised for its honest, relatable lyricism and folk/pop musical arrangements. She has been steadily building her reputation for several years, playing in bars, cafes and at festivals around Australia. In Victoria she has made a name for herself in the singer/songwriter scene, performing at festivals such as Alexandra Farmstay Festival, Toast to the Coast and Dogapalooza Melbourne, and as a featured act at Aireys Inlet Music Festival. In January 2019 Amie embarked on a six-week solo tour of the east coast of Australia, with performances at Folkswagon and Tamworth Country Music Festival, among others. Since then Amie has released her debut album ‘Making Sense of it All’ with a sold-out launch show at the Wesley Anne in Melbourne and traveled back to New South Wales for showcases at Folk by The Sea. The album has received airplay on multiple stations and two of it’s tracks are featured on season two of ABC’s ‘The Heights’.
