De Porsal is a group that has brought a lo-fi indie rock experience to audiences in areas of the Surf Coast, Geelong and Melbourne for the last six years. De Porsal consists of Cooper, Chay, Rory and Xander Willingham, all multi-instrumentalists influenced by the likes of Milk! Records (Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher, etc.), Pavement, Ween, Parquet Courts, and many other bands from all eras and genres. Their years of experience playing live have shaped their chilled yet passionate vibe, and have enabled them to bring a lot of versatility to their performances. They have been known to gig at Aireys Open Mic, Beav’s Bar, Old Bar (Fitzroy), Cowrie Market, Martians Cafe, as well as Busking at the Brewhouse during the QMF. The band’s demo album was recently released, and their first EP is currently in the works.
