Emma Rowe

Growing up in tropical Darwin in the Northern Territory, Emma has a unique talent for crafting quirky contemporary rock songs that combine lust, hope, frustration and joy in a surprisingly complicated but completely relatable style. Emma draws influence from Missy Higgins, Regina Spektor, Florence and the Machine and PJ Harvey. She has an impressive catalogue of support slots including performing with Regurgitator, Big Scary, Frank Turner, Jebediah and Christine Anu. She has also played at major events including the BASSINTHEGRASS Festival, Darwin Blues Festival, Royal Darwin and Adelaide Show and Carols By Candlelight Darwin. Emma will be releasing a new EP in 2020. Her critically acclaimed single “LIONESS”, was released in early 2018. In 2016 she released her second EP “MRO” at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. The EP features the single “Earthflight”, for which the music video was a semi- finalist in the LA Music Video Awards. Her first EP “Emma Rowe & the Two Other Guys" was released in 2012.
