Seb Szabo

With a passionate blend of big-hearted indie rock and lyrics as honest as they are emotive, Melbourne singer-songwriter Seb Szabo is stepping out on his own after a year and half establishing himself with band Atticus Street.

An enigmatic frontman with a knack for melody, Szabo returns to the Airey’s Open Mic Festival after two successful appearances with his former band in 2017 and 2018. In the mere three months since announcing himself as a solo artist late last year, Szabo has wasted no time building an audience on Melbourne’s gig circuit, with powerful performances at The Toff In Town, Workers Club Fitzroy and Some Velvet Morning to his name, among others. 

Having recently recorded a debut single and with more shows on the way, Seb Szabo and his songs are an act not to be missed.
