"A born storyteller." Triple J's Declan Byrne. Seb Szabo only began his solo adventures in early 2019, yet he is already making waves. A gifted lyricist, his resonant voice and passionate brand of big-hearted indie rock has already enraptured audiences across Melbourne, highlighted by supporting San Cisco at a sold-out Alexander Theatre in April and packing out the Grace Darling Hotel Bandroom in December for the launch of his debut release. A joyful and charismatic performer, Seb and his band deliver an honest, inclusive and powerful live show designed to inspire. Seb returns to the Airey’s Open Mic Music Festival after spending his childhood summers as an Airey’s local. His first single, the Coldplay-esque "Tears We've Been Holding Back," produced by Josh Barber (Gretta Ray), was released in November 2019, and is available everywhere now, with more to come.
