After arriving in Canada from Australia in 2010, St.Augustine was ready for the challenge of living in North America and continuing his solo music career. Early beginnings saw St.Augustine sourcing out the local music scene in his adopted city of Vancouver, plying his trade at open-mic nights, small gigs and jamming with musicians he was meeting from around the globe. With this hard work ethic, St.Augustine built a steady following of loyal supporters. In 2016 St.Augustine travelled to remote Whitehorse, Yukon. In this former gold rush town, in a snow induced coma.. St. Augustine’s new batch of songs awoke and with them the burden of failed relationships, broken promises and the yearning for forgiveness, were penned down and exposed. The following year St.Augustine brought in his full line-up and together they orchestrated the fruits of his Yukon labour and recorded his confessions over 3 weeks. Debut singles 'Surrendering' and 'Dance Away' received great response and St.Augustine played the inaugural Hiatus Music Festival then followed up with sold out shows at the Media Club and ANZA Club in Vancouver. Returning to Australia in 2018, St.Augustine recently supported Jeff Martin (The Tea Party) at Karova Lounge for his ‘Stars in the Sand Tour’ in June and earlier in the year played the Aireys Inlet Music Festival.
